Elizabeth Mavor

Elizabeth Mavor was born in 1927 and read History at Oxford. She has several novels to her name, one of which (A Green Equinox, 1973) was shortlisted for the Booker Prize, as well as editions of eighteenth century journals, and a biography of the Duchess of Kingston. She is married to the illustrator Haro Hodson, and lives in Oxfordshire.
